It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ernest “Ernie” Lee Tribby, a cherished member of the Bellaire, MD community. Ernie left us far too soon at the age of 54 on February 19, 2025. Born on April 4, 1970, to Fern and Robert Tribby, he brought joy, laughter, and kindness into the lives of everyone he met. His absence leaves a profound void, but his memory and legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

To honor Ernie’s remarkable life, a Celebration of Life gathering will be held on April 5, 2025, from 12 PM to 3 PM at one of his favorite places, Naughty Dogs Restaurant Pub and Grill, located at 2306 E. Churchville Rd, Bel Air, MD. This event will be an opportunity for friends and family to come together, not only to mourn his loss but to celebrate the joy and love he brought into their lives.

In honor of Ernie’s generous spirit, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or a local pet rescue—causes that were close to his heart. Ernie was passionate about helping others, and his charitable nature continues to inspire.
